Hi there!

I hope you are having a Vanilla Weekend. You may be asking, "what does that even mean?" Well, imagine this.

A few people are talking about their weekend plans. Someone is going to a concert, someone else has a date at an amusement park, another is going to their friend's party. But maybe your plans are a little different. Maybe you're looking forward to finishing your book and trying a new recipe at home.

Then someone jokes and says, "You're so vanilla." You know - simple, predictable, maybe a little boring.

But what if being a little vanilla isn't a bad thing?

I feel that nowadays, we spend a lot of time planning the next mini vacation, looking for the next weekend party, and packing your social weekend calendar because we've been told that it's the only way to enjoy life. Sometimes it's important to stop, relax, and enjoy giving yourself time to recharge.

That's what inspired Vanilla Weekend.

There's something special about a slow morning with an iced coffee in hand and no particular plan for the day. Putting on your favorite sweater and wandering through a bookstore feels like a refreshing exhale. Getting a new notebook to fill and an uninterrupted afternoon to try a new recipe is a feeling of comfort.

To me, having a Vanilla Weekend doesn't mean a boring one. It's finding joy in the simpler, more ordinary moments in life. It's giving yourself time to rest and recharge from the week. It's slowing down to notice the daily moments you romanticize. Maybe you have a morning coffee routine or find enjoyment wearing a comforting sweater every time you run errands. Maybe you feel most at home when journaling after finishing a good book. For many of us, including myself, these moments are not just enjoyable, but they are helpful to recharge and prepare for the next week ahead.

These small, daily moments are also important - they remind us that you don't have to wait for the perfect weekend, the perfect season, or the perfect moment to enjoy yourself.

You can romanticize today. You can celebrate the little things. You can let an ordinary day become something worth remembering.

As I continue to expand this brand, I hope my products remind you that life doesn't have to be extravagant to be enjoyable. Having back-to-back booked weekends may be fun - but having that one weekend to relax and have some you time - that sounds like a great Vanilla Weekend.
